The 9^th EUMETSAT Satellite Applications Course for Middle East (ESAC-ME-IX) will be held in WMO Center of excellence for Training in Meteorological Satellite Applications- Muscat from 9 to 20 February 2013.

The objective of the training is to enhance the skills of meteorologists on applications and products of satellite data, and to update their knowledge of new developments of the weather satellite program sincluding Meteosat Second Generation. The course also contains training on satellite interpretation techniques, case studies. EUMETSAT and DGMAN will conduct this course free of charge, and will provide the participants with a wide selection of training materials.
